Orthokinetor TMJ Analyzer
Orthokinetor TMJ Analyzer

The ORTHOKINETOR TMJ ANALYZER software is a software program designed for the diagnosis and therapeutic planning of temporomandibular joint disorders by recording and systematizing all data from the patient’s medical history. It includes an application with hardware for digital audio spectrometry of the TMJ.

The temporomandibular joint audio spectrometry software allows for digital analysis of joint auscultation, obtaining acoustic information on joint function and recording joint sounds derived from signs and/or symptoms of temporomandibular joint disorders, disc shape and position alterations, as well as alterations in the joint surfaces and associated structures.

It also records and stores this information in audio files, as well as graphs the sounds using oscillatory waves. This allows for observation of the magnitude and intensity of the recorded acoustic wave, the quality and quantity of joint noise, the exact location of the mandibular opening and closing where the noise originated, and the type of joint noise, in order to associate it with the diagnosis of the disorder found.

It also allows for additional diagnostic monitoring and analysis of extracapsular disorders. It also allows for sequential and chronological monitoring of therapeutic progress, as well as monitoring after treatment completion.

It includes the TMJ Audio Spectrometer™ and the Opening Analyzer™.
