The Holographus Lateral Cephalogram is a craniofacial measurement that uses a graphic geometric method to diagnose by tracing four triangles, a sphere, and a straight line. These measure the anatomical components of the facial, cervical, and airway structures, as well as their relationship to the skull base.

The graphic components of this analysis are six:

• Baso-Cranial Equilateral: measures cranial type class I, II, or III.
• Superior Functional Equilateral: measures maxillary position and upper dentition.
• Inferior Functional Equilateral: measures mandibular size.
• Pneumatic or Respiratory Equilateral: measures airway size.
• Cranio-Cervical Sphere: measures mandibular size and cervical curvature.
• Glabellar Vertical Line: measures sagittal position of upper incisors.
